Bitcoin Surges Above $59K as Bull Rally Continues (3 minute read)
Bitcoin saw a significant surge above $59,000 during European morning hours on Wednesday, marking a 5% increase in the past 24 hours and propelling its market capitalization to $1.2 trillion.
This rise was fueled by spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) experiencing over $3 billion in cumulative trading volumes on Tuesday, boosting demand. Additionally, traders cited anticipation surrounding the upcoming bitcoin halving event expected in April as a factor driving a pre-halving rally.
BlackRock’s spot bitcoin ETF hits record daily inflow of $520 million (3 minute read)
BlackRock's IBIT spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund experienced a record daily inflow of $520.2 million on Tuesday amidst the ongoing surge in bitcoin's price. This figure marked a 5% increase from the previous record of $493.1 million set on Feb. 13, surpassing the combined total net inflows of $519.8 million registered on Monday for all U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs.
Our take? Well those bullish on Bitcoin ETFs were 100% correct. There appears to be far more demand from institutions in Bitcoin than miners can currently produce, and with the halving coming soon, this will only increase. Pushing prices higher.
Bitcoin Ordinals Trading Is Surging With Halving Just Two Months Away (3 minute read)
Amid Bitcoin's surging price, Ordinals, akin to NFTs, are quietly making a comeback, with sales across major Ordinals marketplaces reaching $19.7 million on Monday, followed by over $14 million in sales reported today by CryptoSlam. This figure marks a significant increase from the beginning of the month when daily trading volume ranged between $5 to $6 million. However, it still has a ways to go to match December's peak of $85 million in trades.
Cross-chain marketplace Magic Eden has reclaimed its position as the top spot for acquiring Ordinals. Additionally, the resurgence of Ordinals is expected to contribute to boosting transaction fees, potentially benefiting miners, who will likely take a hit once the halving passes.

Ethereum Foundation gives Dencun upgrade an activation time in March (2 minute read)
The Dencun network upgrade, announced by the Ethereum Foundation Blog on Tuesday, has been successfully activated across all testnets after two years of development and testing since its inception at ETHDenver. Scheduled to go live on the Ethereum mainnet on March 13, the upgrade, also referred to as protodanksharding, enables rollups to transmit data more affordably, potentially leading to reduced transaction costs for end users.
Venture Capital Giant Andreessen Horowitz Pumps $100,000,000 Into Team Behind Ethereum Restaking Protocol (3 minute read)
Andreessen Horowitz, a prominent venture capital firm, has injected $100 million into the development team responsible for EigenLayer, a restaking protocol operating on Ethereum. EigenLayer's protocol allows users to restake their ETH, providing cryptoeconomic security for various protocols beyond Ethereum, in return for protocol fees and rewards.
Also, Binance Labs is also backing Renzo, an associated liquid restaking token for EigenLayer, although the specific investment amount remains undisclosed. It looks like Restaking will remain a huge narrative for this bull cycle.

Could Sam Bankman-Fried Dodge a Century-Long Prison Sentence? (2 minute read)
The ongoing legal battle of Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), the founder of FTX, against a potentially lengthy prison sentence has captured the attention of the cryptocurrency community and beyond. With his sentencing scheduled for March 28, speculation swirls about whether SBF will face a life sentence.
The controversy erupted when SBF's lawyer, Marc Mukasey, condemned the probation office's recommendation of a 110-year term as "grotesque" and "barbaric." In response, Bankman-Fried's legal team has underscored his potential for societal reintegration, citing his philanthropic endeavors and dedication to others. Mukasey fervently defended his client, characterizing the proposed sentence as a "barbaric proposal" for an individual he portrays as "brilliant, complex, and compassionate."
