Bitcoin Jumps Over $71K (3 minute read)
Bitcoin just blasted through the $71,000 ceiling during Monday's Asian trading hours, making history. BTC's been on a steady climb, thanks to the U.S. green-lighting spot bitcoin ETFs. Ethereum's not slacking either, cruising past $4,000. Even the broader CoinDesk 20 index nudged up nearly 1%.

So, what's fueling this financial frenzy? Many are pointing fingers at the London Stock Exchange's new openness to bitcoin and ether ETNs, and a market in Asia that's more parched for action than a desert. They're saying it's a perfect storm: Asian investors are jumping in on a tight market, while the buzz around the London Stock Exchange's move and the insatiable appetite for BTC ETFs keep the price moving steadily higher.

London Stock Exchange to start accepting bitcoin, eth applications (2 minute read)
The London Stock Exchange (LSE) has announced it'll start taking applications for bitcoin and ether exchange-traded notes (ETNs) in Q2 this year. They're playing it coy on the exact launch date, but they're joining the crypto party. This big move comes hot on the heels of the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) giving the thumbs up to cryptocurrency-backed ETNs on Recognized Investment Exchanges.

For those out of the loop, ETNs are like IOUs that track an underlying asset - in this case, crypto. This means investors can trade these during London's trading hours, without directly dabbling in the crypto itself. Why's the LSE jumping on the bandwagon now? Well, they're eyeing the wild success of U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs, which have attracted huge inflows since their January launch. To give you an idea, these ETFs' trading volume has skyrocketed to a whopping $106.59 billion.

Solana based tokens make comeback riding on potential airdrops and meme coin frenzy (2 minute read)
The Solana ecosystem is buzzing like a beehive on a summer day. Why? A mix of potential airdrop whispers and a meme coin mania that's catching everyone's attention. As Bitcoin cruises past the $70,000 mark, hitting a new all-time high, altcoins are getting a piece of the action.

Solana-based assets are particularly enjoying the spotlight, ready to snatch some of that capital flowing away from Bitcoin. The numbers? Solana's trading volume has soared to a record $3.4 billion. And get this, a hefty 15% of that, roughly $530 million, is thanks to meme coins. Yes, you heard right. Meme coins like Dogwifhat, Bonk, Myro, Popcat, and Solama are skyrocketing on Solana.

Our favorite exchange to trade new altcoins, before the big exchanges have them (and before retail often gets their hands on them) is MEXC. MEXC has the lowest fees and 1700 coins to trade, making it one of our favorite exchanges this cycle.

Bitcoin ordinals volume jumps while ERC-404 experiment loses steam (2 minute read)
Ordinal inscriptions are soaring. Having kicked off last January, these aren't your typical NFTs; they're a whole new breed, attaching art directly to Bitcoin's tiniest unit, the satoshi. The trading numbers are wild - a 25.43% increase in sales volume this week alone, hitting nearly $173 million.

One NodeMonke ordinal even sold for over a million bucks. But while ordinals are partying, not everyone's having a good time. Take Pandora, for instance. They're behind the ERC-404 token standard, and let's just say they've seen better days. Their sales volume has plummeted by 44%, and their token price is down 7.6%.

How Much Cheaper Will Dencun Really Make the Ethereum Ecosystem? (5. minute read)
On March 13, Ethereum's gearing up for its latest network shake-up: the Dencun upgrade. Sure, it's not making as much noise as last year's big switch to proof-of-stake, but don't let the quiet fool you. This is big news. Dencun is not just another update; it's a game-changer. We're talking about a potential end to those pesky gas fees on scaling networks, and a whole new world of possibilities for on-chain development. Karl Floersch, behind OP Labs and their layer-2 network, Optimism, is calling this the dawn of a new era for Ethereum. So, while it might not be grabbing headlines like last year's merge, Dencun is quietly setting the stage for a revolution in how Ethereum operates.
